重要成果:

1.论证了ENSO和东亚夏季风之间的关系并不是恒定和稳定的;

2.揭示了北极海冰和北极涛动对东亚气候和我国霾污染的影响;

3.建立了一系列新的气候预测方法和预测模型,并应用于气象业务上。

获奖情况:

中国科学院院士、挪威技术科学院院士。曾获国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金、何梁何利科学与技术进步奖。获得过国家自然科学奖二等奖两次(分别为第1完成人、第2完成人)、中国科学院自然科学奖一等奖(第5完成人)。国家973项目首席科学家、国家百千万人才工程国家级人选及领军人才。2010年度卢嘉锡优秀研究生导师奖(全国10名)、全国优秀科技工作者等荣誉。
